This my friends is the greatest animation I have seen for a long time. Created by relative unknown Jérémie Périn, this video is the title promo for the new Flair’s EP entitled Truckers Delight. Lionel Flairs is a cockney parisian electro popping hybrid who creates some very listenable 80′s influenced music. No wonder the video is a grotesque homage to 80′s pixel art and 8 bit gaming. It’s rather rude in a manga-esque way but works rather nicely. Check it and prepare to laugh your retro brain off. Oh and be warned it’s not for the easily offended…
According to designer toy store Pinkghost, the idea of the Chubby Book was the result of being unable to settle for a sketchbook, journal or postcard book. So they mashed up all three into one fat, cute, rounded corner book!
Artist Chubby Books are 250 page hardcover books including 10 artist designed postcards, 100 blank lined pages and 150 blank sketch pages for you to get creative on!
What I really like about the books is that they can act as one sole place to store your own creative drawings, plan your daily activities and get inspired by one of the amazing illustrators. Useful, functional and inspirational!

Just thought I’d big up UK creative 24exp (aka Chris Henley). He’s a designer who I’ve been a fan of for a while who produces minimal but awesome design work. The man who classes himself as “Part time creator, full time thinker” has just produced a lovely typographic print beauty for the Filmstock International film festival.
The limited edition screen printed poster is to commemorate 10 years of film, music, art and friendship that is, was and will always be Filmstock.
