We’re pleased to announced we’ll be covering the awesomeness over at this years Relentless NASS Festival 2010. With world class BMX, World Cup Skateboarding, FMX and inlining there isn’t a more jaw-dropping extreme sports festival in the UK. Pack that out with some excellent live music from Bowling for Soup, Chase & Status Live, Plan B, Tinie Tempah, Crazy Arm, Failsafe and Ghost of a Thousand and you’re onto a winning weekend all round.
You’ll be able to read reviews of our favourite bands and sickest tricks from our favourite riders and skaters.
Were you at Relentless NASS 2009? Tell us about your own personal highlight! Did you rock out to N.E.R.D and did you catch the Horse Boarding and Roller Derby?
I’m not the biggest skater or bmx’er, but like everyone I jumped on the bandwagon and got addicted to Tony Hawk on the PS1 (mainly due to the cracking soundrack), so have always a glancing interest in both extreme sports.
So I was watching the Best of Nass on channel 4, about a week ago which featured some fantastic tricks and displayed some of the best riders and skaters of the last few years. In 2006, to top off the weekend, Nass put on 2 of the big guns of Skateboarding and Bmxing – Matt Hoffman and Tony Hawk, and they performed a magical stunt together, which sent the crowd crazy! So just thought I’d post a clip of it…
ALSO For those who don’t know Nass 2009 happened this weekend, and it featured some of the best in skateboarding, BMX, freestyle moto-x and inline skating as well as a world class music bill over the three days. Bands including NERD, CKY, Zane Lowe, SHY FX and the King Blues.
